AOIRO is a studio for olfactory design, founded by Austro-Japanese duo Shizuko Yoshikuni and Manuel Kuschnig.

Their expertise lies in the olfactory interpretation of concepts, transforming these into individually tailored signature scents and olfactory identities for both fragrance products and air design in space.

The scent of HAKUDO is inspired by the invisible layers of the mountain ground, earthy & green - velvety moss, soils that are rich in organic materials, and by roots that distribute their lives deep underground. Its scent profile offers a dark and rich impression, dry & moist temperaments, and a hint of smokiness in the background. 11 botanical essences that work in synergy: Hiba wood, Oakmoss, Amyris, Copaiba, Vetiver, Elemi, Yuzu, Green Oregano, Palmarosa, Ajowan, Cypress.

A set of a cork diffuser pillar & Hakudo botanical essence 30ml with dropper pipette. Each item is assembled in the paulownia wooden box, traditionally handcrafted in Ishikawa, Japan.
